Woodward House on the Manor, Front Royal

The host and hostess were very friendly. The breakfast was amazing. I thought it was one of the highlights of our Virginia trip. The setting was peaceful. I was able to take a 30 minute walk and not have to worry about traffic. The room was nicely decorated.

I've stayed at Woodward house twice in 2006 and 2008. The owners are very nice people, the breakfast is very good and the rooms decorated and comfortable. The house sits up on a hill which is very steep, that would e my only concern if you are not comfortable going up that, but its not a problem in a car. It is located close to the entrance to skyline drive where I went cycling, a short ride. Lastly there is plenty of parking.
