The Taft Bridge Inn, Washington

Taft Bridge Inn is a bed and breakfast near the Dupont Circle / Adams Morgan neighborhoods. Like most B&Bs, it is a well-kept Victorian era house, tastefully appointed with antique furniture. Taft Bridge Inn departs from the usual decore and features a large collection of asian art. Several things about the Inn impressed me. The room, beds, and the bath were amoung the cleanest I've seen at a B&B. The sheets and towels had a pleassant, freshly-washed scent. Each morning a full hot breakfast was prepared to order. Free wireless access is available in the main seating area. I was particularly happy with the desk service. Taft Inn was able to flawlessly spit a bill and provide both me and my colleague a reciept with a zero ballance - a rare feat! Finally, the owner went out of her way to let me check out a day early. I told her that, since my room mate had to leave, that I would like to leave also. She told me that if another guest called for a room then she would call me and I could leave early with no penalty.
