Powers Mansion Inn, Auburn

My wife and I recently were wed at the Power's Mansion Inn on 4/28/11. What a great wedding. We chose to do our wedding on a thursday night, for their great deal and coulnd't have been happier! Wow! Had an outdoor wedding, with an indoor reception. Everything was sooooo smooth! They took care of everything and they were so easy to work with and flexible. Alfred made us feel right at home. I have recommended this wonderful venue to not just friends but strangers alike! If your looking for class at an affordable rate, and ease than look no further!

The powers mansion and pub are both wonderful! I would recommend both to anyone. We had the most perfect evening wedding at the mansion which was choreographed by Jen and Alfred to move and run so smooth the entire event. Everything turned out beautifully because of the personal attention given by both Jen and Alfred. We had some guests who wanted to party longer and Alfred graciously opened the pub next door for our party to continue until the early hours of the morning. The service is excellent, we could not have asked for more.

Our dining experience at the Pub was excelent. The food was very good. We ordered the steak dinner and it was absolutly terrific. The price was great too. We really enjoyed meeting the owner and talking with him about his experiences. He truly is a wonderful person. I reccomend this place for a great date night experience if your ever in Auburn, Ca.

My beautiful daughter got married last weekend at the the Powers Mansion. We were treated wonderfully by the host, Alfred, who made every thing look easy, and go off like clock work. From the the Bridal Tea, with fantastic food to the wedding in the lovely gazabo to the cocktail hour, while we were having our pictures taken, and finally the reception, dinner and dancing in their ball room, it was the most magical day we could ask for. But that wasn't the end of it! Our wedding party stayed at the mansion in their beautifully decorated rooms. In the morning after our wonderful night we were treated to a fantastic breakfast in the Powers Club. All in all, I could not of asked for more. It will be a memory my family and friends will cherish forever. I would recommend the Powers Mansion for any wedding or just for a romanatic get away. The owners, Alfred and Peggy Lee are the BEST!!

Our wedding took place on May 16, 2009. I cannot say enough about how beautiful our wedding was. When I saw the reception ballroom I just about cried, everything was perfect! Jen and Alfred took the time out to meet with us every month before the wedding to help us plan. They knew what they were doing and it showed on our Day. Jen was exceptional, anything that I missed, she was right on top of it and anything I needed she was there to help. She also triple checked everything to make sure that it was what we wanted. I gave them pictuers of flowers and the cake that I liked and they made exactly what I wanted. If I had to do my wedding all over again, I would choose this place over and over again!!! Not to mention Alfred helped with our budget. Also, our wedding was supposed to end at 10 and we still had many people dancing and they kept the music going for a little longer seeing how much fun that everyone was having. Our wedding was one of the best days of our lives thanks to the Power's Mansion Inn!!!

Our chapter of Red Hatters enjoyed a wonderful tea and tour of the Power's Mansion Inn. Hats off to Dodie for the delicious food and service. We had a terrific time and will highly recommend this to other Red Hat groups.

My only daughters wedding was Perfect! Alfred treated us like family. I researched and could not find a better price! Certified chef, photographer, ect. The reception had the best food and music, the cake Jen made was the best! We brought her a picture and she made it happen. Alfred and his staff did everything, smoothed my worries over family and solved little things that I forgot to do. I would do it over again in a heartbeat. It is hard to send your daughter off into the world, I will always have the best memories and the happiest feelings when I think back on her wedding. You can't put a price on that. Alfred is "the" wedding planner! I had the best time because I put my trust and my family into his hands. He can do it all, I did not have to hire out for anything. The wedding was perfect. The pictures are perfect. She has the best start to her new life. Everyone should be this lucky!

The staff made promises that they did not keep as to how my wedding would be presented. they did a lousy job on service, the cake was much less then expected and the flowers were pathetic! It was not woth the amount of money I spent, and on top of that, I still haven't gotten my wedding photos!! I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!

I love everything about the Powers Mansion Inn. The Event Center is beautiful, the food is delicious, and Alfred Lee and his staff are warm and incredibly accommodating. You can't go wrong holding your events there!!!
