Bishop's House Bed & Breakfast, Easton

From the moment that we checked in to this charming historic house, my husband and I were made to feel like cherished guests. Our first night there we were treated to champagne and cheese and crackers We stayed in the garden room which was spotless and had every amenity: refrigerator, bottled water, extremely comfortable bed (absolutely NOT lumpy, at all), giant shower with amazing massage shower heads, lovely view of the garden. The breakfasts were definitely not microwaved from Sam's Club. We had three breakfasts made from scratch while there: stuffed french toast, breakfast quiche, and my personal favorite petit belgian waffles; all were accompanied by fresh fruit, and a very light dessert. Carla was a superb hostess. She planned breakfasts that did not feature eggs, as I do not like eggs and kept the coffee coming. She is very knowledgeable about the area and suggested restaurants and activities. My husband and I will definitely return, probably this winter on our way to Florida. The negative review posted on this site proves that old adage that "some people you just can't please." Linda and Milton

Perhaps the worst bed and breakfast experience I've ever had. The proprietor serves breakfast that's microwaved pre-prepared dishes straight from Sam's Club. The linens and towels are soured. The bed had lumps. Worst of all, the proprietor could care less.
