Lehmann House, St Louis

Marie, the owner, made an agreement with me some time back to have my wedding reception at Lehmann House. Although I made a few calls in the months afterwards to ask questions, verify details, she would either not return calls, or would promise to but not follow through. Then, just a few months before my wedding, I accidentally reached her on the phone, and she told me she was too overwhelmed to host my reception. I was forced to scramble at the last minute to find an alternate reception place, which is nearly impossible that close to a wedding. By an extremely lucky turn of events, I DID find my time available at a different historic house. Their staff were professional and went above and beyond for my event, which helped make my reception a beautiful time! If you are looking for the charm of a historic house, there are many other options in St. Louis to explore and enjoy. Don't waste your time at Lehmann House!
