If you are expecting the Ritz stay away. If you want to stay in a place that is like someones home and be left alone then this is the place. There is no polish what so ever. But it is clean and cozy and the view is unbelievable. The pool area is the best part. During the week the prices are low and you won't likely see anyone. Just pull in, find your room, stay, make your self at home, and leave when you are done. Just don't drink too much in the valley before you drive back to the Inn.
Hillcrest B&B seems like it will be a great romantic getaway for couples traveling to wine country, however the service is disorganized and the house is unkempt and food stale.
My fiance planned a romantic weekend there for my birthday. We got there late on thurs. night. The next morning we went to have breakfast and helped ourselves to cereal. The cereal was extremely stale and the milk was completely curdled. Then went to take a shower and the shower head was broken off of the one communal shower. We had reserved the master suite for our second night, however they said they had offered it to someone else and moved us to a small room. They were very unapologetic and dismissive! To top it all off, we canceled our second night and they asked us to get cash in town to pay because the credit card machine was broken!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!
