Comfortable and Gracious

My husband,Ron, and I stayed at Eastlake Inn in the summer of 2006. Lori was a good hostess, welcoming, discreet, and a great cook. Our breakfasts each morning were filling and tasty. We stayed in the Garden Room, I believe, with ivy stencils on the walls, a very comfortable bed and beautiful, soft morning light due to the beautiful trees outside our windows. The grounds were well maintained, colorful, and peaceful. The home itself was very comfortable. We also enjoyed Lori's Golden Retrievers, who were never intrusive and generally kept in Lori's rooms. We just couldn't resist them when we encountered them in the yard. The stay was well worth it.The location to St. Louis and its suburbs and the attractions was great. I hope that the next time we travel there that Lori has a room available for us!
