White Fence Bed and Breakfast, Stanley

My husband and I were married at the White Fence Bed and Breakfast in March 2008. We were there for three days, and it was absolutely wonderful. We had a very romantic suite on the second floor that included a gas fireplace between the sitting room and bedroom, and a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi. As part of the wedding package, we got a gift certificate to a romantic Victorian-style restaurant -- the food was terrific, and the gift certificate covered everything - the appetizers, drinks, main courses and desserts! We were the only couple at the bed and breakfast that weekend (usually they are booked!), so we enjoyed some friendly conversations with the owners. They made us feel right at home, and fixed wonderful meals. We chose to use the wedding vows that they offered - the vows were different than the traditional ones -- and I think they were perfect (romantic, simple, touching). They let us choose anywhere on the property for the wedding, so we chose to be married outside. Everything -- from the words spoken by the owner as the wedding officiator, to the pictures taken by his wife -- was perfect!! We are looking forward to going back there for anniversaries.
