More than a B & B

It is not often that an experience exceeds ones expectations, yet that is exactly what our recent stay at the gorgeous Foxfield Inn did. It was beyond our wildest dreams. Mary Pat and John Hulburt, our hosts, made our 25th anniversary trip more special than we could have ever hoped for. The inn is immaculate, well thought out (they designed it!), and as welcoming a place at which we have ever stayed. Our room was enormous, and beautifully decorated with a canopied bed, beautiful window seat, and lovely fireplace. Special attention was given to every detail, right down to the gorgeous bouquet of carnations that I had requested for my wife. Breakfasts were fabulous, always with fresh fruit to accompany the entree, including Eggs Benedict (perfectly cooked), French toast, and corned beef hash and eggs. Mary Pat was thoughtful and considerate of our every need, and her special cookies were always available (even in the middle of the night) for us to partake of when we needed them most. John tied up our stay by taking a beautiful portrait (and we were not the most accomodating subjects - but he perservered) to commemorate our special anniversary. We will return again, to be sure!
