Very disappointed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/16/06
We were very disappointed and a bit shocked by this B&B's weirdness. While the proprietor made a soso effort to make us comfortable, we found the house rules absurd. For instance, the posted reminders and request to put our "used" TP in the trash rather than flush it due to a delicate septic system was grotesque(esp. when the trash hadn't been emptied between occupants). That combined with mildew shower stalls, hair plugged drains and thread barren/tattered towels made the "private" bathroom experience very quick. Also, having to remove your shoes at the entrance to save the tattered rugs and painted, creaking floor was really annoying (esp. when the resident dog gave you slobbery kiss when you bent over to put your shoes on). Three immediate recommendations are: modernize the plumbing, fumigate for spiders (they were everyhere) and lose the clutter.
