Have stayed there four times in the past year, and would always go back

The Panama Hotel is an off-beat sorta funky, homey place with a fabulous breakfast thrown in. They have jazz two nights a week. Best of all, the have severala small rooms upstairs that are $75.00 a night including breakfast. Service very friendly, atmosphere excellent, food really good with Mexican touches. I say three cheers for the Panama! If you stay a week or longer you get one night free as well. Short walk from downtown San Raphael, located in Gerstle Park.
