Had a Great Time
By travelling girl, 1/4/09
My husband and I visited the Falcons Nest this year and we really enjoyed ourselves. The room (Panorama) was large with great windows, it had a private bath and a deck to sit on in the evenings. The breakfast was continental served on a cute tray and was more than adequate for two people. They gave a bagel, muffin, two pieces of fruit, and they also had cereal and oatmeal out for us. I really dont understand some of the reviews that say the breakfast was meager. There was a table located outside to eat on by a waterfall if you didnt want to eat in your room. Overall we were very pleased. Dezmond and Missy were a pleasure to speak to, as well as the owners Don and Kay. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants a reasonable and comfy place to stay away from the hussle and bussle of the valley floor.

Beware of the place
By Hod, 10/13/08
I stayed recently with my wife at their Sonora Sky room. 1. When we asked the owner for another bagel (we received only one) he told us that the "allowance" for the room is one bagel and refused to give us another bagel. 2. The AM-FM radio in our room had only one volume setting: Full-Volume, so it was impossible to use the radio (there is almost no TV reception in the place). (Note they charge $170 per night and cannot afford a new $15 AM-FM radio!) 3. You eat your breakfast on a 1.5' diameter "table". 4. The place cost $170 per night but it is 1.5 stars standard. 5. When the outdoor temperature was below freezing, it was impossible to raise the room temperature above 71 def. F.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/19/07
they canceled our reservation less than 24 hours before we were due to check in and couldn't help us find anything else in the area. they said they had another room but no hot water or heat! are kidding me? then they admit that they knew they had plumbing problems all week but didn't let us know ahead of time!

Reserver Beware
By cyndie, 8/13/07
When I made a reservation at this B&B I was not made aware that my CC would be charged for the NON Refundable full amount of two days stay (~$380). The owner neglected to mention this when he. booked the room. Well, 24 hours after I made the reservation and 3 weeks before I was due to arrive, I had to cancel the room. It was then that he told me he wouldn't refund my money. After some discussion, he finally relinquished and said he would refund my money IFF he could rent out the room. Since it was for a weekend in August (high season in Yosemite), he was able to rent the room BUT he decided to keep a $25 processing fee -- which he never mentioned. Sheesh. All I can say is, only make a reservation here if you are darn sure your plans won't change. Or, like me -- just don't ever make a reservation here again.

GREAT house.
By Phil H, 11/25/06
I don't know where these people were staying in the previous opinion, (gross-out), but we stayed in the Four Seasons house and it was the best! We had a large group, and EVERY bed was very comfortable, down comforters, a wood-burning fireplace in the master bedroom, and lots of room for people to be alone even inside. Very quiet. There is a shortage of hot water if everyone takes a shower at once, but otherwise it was fine. My best impression was how comfortable the beds were. I slept like a dead-man. Some of the appliacnces in the kitchen did not work, but that did not hinder us from being able to cook for our large family. We loved it!

GROSS OUT!!!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/14/06
We rented the Four Seasons flagship house that is located above their office. When we walked in, the house reaked of mold. The room that the spa was in smelled the worst and everytime the door to that room opened, the whole house flooded with that horrible smell. There were cobwebs and dust everywhere. This house was supposed to accomodate 16 but we always ran out of hot water with only 6 adults taking showers. The dishes in the kitchen were often crusty and dirty. All in all, I would have been more comfortable in a tent. Not worth the money!
