The review that indicated disgust because they weren't made aware of the family illness and weren't notified and were unable to stay -- a few more details might be helpful. The serious illness was the owner and was a severe heart attack which threatened his life. We've traveled from MN; I can imagine the disappointmet and predicament. However, some understanding might be applied. We are here in June 2009 and while they are still struggling with health issues, we find both host and hostess extremely gracious, helpful, and accomodating. We had an incredible breakfast, have a beautiful room, and look forward to 7 more days here.
