4 reviews for The 1900 Inn On Montford, Asheville
Fantastic B&B for the particular .
By Carol B., 06/08/09
My husband and I were looking for a B&B close to the Biltmore for a weekend furlough. We were very thrilled to find this very well staffed, detail orientated, and warm establishment. The owners take personal pride in your happiness and no request was unmanageable. There was an abundance of privacy, while at the same time plenty of opportunities to socialize with the inn keepers and other guests. Breakfast was first class as well as the accommodations. One slight suggestion to people planning for a couple’s massage, ask for a time when housekeeping is not making their rounds. Even with the bit of noise, the massages were vastly soothing. Also, the cooling tea eye leaflets were a nice touch. I HIGHLY recommend this B&B for any one with high expectations. We will be returning without a doubt!

Our Best Anniversary B&B Experience Yet!!!
By , 04/10/09
This was our 12th Anniversary, and I wanted to make it special since we had neglected our B&B tradition due to kids. We stayed in the Zelda, which provided ample room since we didn't want to go out much! ;-) The roses and truffles were a perfect addition (I am SOO addicted to the "Ancient Pleasures"!!) and waiting for us when we arrived. The pricing on this addition as well as the Biltmore tickets were a wonderful value and one less thing that I had to worry about. The many rooms in the suite allowed us to stretch out. When we needed "me time", my wife was able to read a book in a quiet and cozy corner while I watched a movie in another room. I also loved having our own entrance in back, for when we returned and just wanted to sneak back to our room to crash....or other things...The breakfast was absolutely amazing (I love having desert for breakfast!). The hosts were FANTASTIC! We had a semi-reserved crowd at breakfast on both mornings, but Ron & Lynn were masterful conversation starters. This is our new B&B for Asheville. We will be back!!!

Can't wait to go back
By George, 10/30/08
Lynn and Ron are the perfect Inn Keepers; friendly ad flexible. Too often we have found Bed and Breakfast Inns can lose some charm and comfort in the rigidity of the Inn Keepers. Not at he Inn on Montford; Lynn and Ron were great hosts. They were inviting but not pushy, our privacy completely respected. The amenities exceeded our expectations. Our stay in the beautifully appointed Rossetti Suite was fabulous. We left (while not really wanting to leave) feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Shelly and George Haddad Orlando, FL

Simply Superb!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/01/07
We first stayed at the Inn on Montford over 10 years ago, after a day of whitewater rafting in North Carolina. We chose the inn because it looked luxurious, and we enjoy Asheville. What we found there exceeded all our expectations. Lynn & Ron have created a place where you can meet interesting people, find advice on great things to do and see, and, most of all, relax. That's what has kept us coming back almost every year for 5-6 days at a stretch ever since. We can't recommend it highly enough if you are looking for a wonderful time. Hope to see you there some year!
