Red Rocker Inn, Black Mountain

Five years ago, this was the place to go for a special occasion. The house is cozy and well decorated. The servers were great and the food was fantastic. Now the inn has changed owners again and the chef that prepared those fabulous meals is gone too. Even though the new owner's claim to be using the same recipes, they are not as tasty. The owner's wife now bakes all of the desserts and unless you don't know what an exquisite dessert tastes like, it is very bad. It's a shame that things have to change for the worse, when they were once a five star, award winning restaurant and inn. It will cost you plenty, so take your money somewhere else.
