best kept secret in NC

The inn is set in a antique town, in a wood: there are well-decorated & immaculate rooms; the food is home-cooked from scratch; the towels and linens are fresh and the water is hot and plentiful; the environment is very homey; and, there are wonderful gardens outside (Mrs. Smith is a master gardner!) The Smith family are very delightful folksy people with value and prices that can't be beat!
Southern Pines and the antique village of Pinehurst are not far away (less than 20 miles), also closeby are the 40+ golf courses in that county.
