Preston Woodall House Bed & Breakfast, Benson

My daughter had her wedding at the PWH in 2009. The staff there could not have been better and could not have been more accommodating. We have forged friendships with these folks as they were awesome. I would highly recommend PWH. Diane Seymour directed their wedding and is great!

My Husband and I fell in love with PWH as soon as we saw the photos online and even more when we went to visit our first time, they definitely are all about customer service. Joel, Phyllis and Diane were all so wonderful and made my Wedding planning experience and Wedding weekend so enjoyable . Our family and friends all loved and appreciated the southern hospitality and atmosphere. The on site accommodations were fantastic and made the busy weekend so much more pleasant and relaxing. ***The food was Amazing!!!!*** Thank you PWH and staff for a weekend i will never forget.

When my daughter became engaged, we immediately began venue searching. On July 25th, my suspicions were confirmed, we had ABSOLUTELY picked the right place! She had a fairytale wedding and no task was too large for Woodall House!. Everyone was amazing to work with, especially Joel, Phyllis, Diane & Patrick! Joel helped us create the wedding of my daughter's dreams down to each detail. Diane & Patrick - I don't know where to start! They never sleep! They ensured everything went off without a hitch, Accomodations were great - all of my family could stay together in the cottages. The food was excellent!. The house is beautiful. My husband and I have received so many compliments from our guests. It was a perfect weekend. Thanks to all of you so much. P.S. - The Sunday Brunch is fantastic. Best food you will ever eat!

My expectations were very high.........but were exceeded! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you........... Several comments I have received - one neighbor said he had never been to such an elegant and well orchestrated event (formerly he was on the board for the state community college system) - another neighbor, the event coordinator for Campbell Law School, she said she had found a hidden gem and would check with you before scheduling events at her usual venues.......and the positive comments continue.

I had the worst experience I have ever had at a wedding at this location this weekend. Several members of the staff were so rude and the bride actually left her own reception 2 hours early in tears. The staff decided to shut the bar down 2 hours early and then called the police to come into the house and literally kick all guests out. The wedding party had to go upstairs and clear out all belongs and one member of the staff actually physically put his hands on one of the bridesmaids leaving a red mark on her arm! I have never seen such unprofessionalism and chaos at a wedding. The staff handled the situation so poorly and ruined the experience that will never happen again for the bride and groom. I feel so sorry for anyone that holds their special day at the Preston Woodall House in the future and cannot imagine how I would feel if my own wedding day had ended so poorly. I highly recommend that you conduct extensive research before ever using this location because it is awful to think that this could happen to another bride in the future. I would NEVER use this venue or attend another event there for any reason in the future. The staff/service at the Preston Woodall House is the worst I have ever witnessed.
