We love it!

Although rustic and plain in many ways, we find The Pines a fantastic place to rest, relax, and be tourists in Asheville, Hendersonville, and Brevard when we want to do that. One summer our family (then numbering 10, including some inlaws) rented Grandpa's log cabin for a long weekend and just loved it. Other times two to six of us have stayed primarily in the front rooms upstairs. We've been in finer places, and more expensive ones, but we generally choose The Pines, the porch overlooking the valley, and Mary's wonderful breakfasts. We've been returning almost every year since 1990.
