Hidden Gem!

This is more of a "ranchette" than a B&B. Proprietress Ann Harrington strikes a great balance between really taking care of you, and NOT intruding. She'll make sure you're up in time for your appointment (with breakfast), but will refrain from joining at meals, in case guests prefer to chat amongst themselves (invite her to join if you feel like it!). The location of this ranch is truly unique -- with its own entrances to trails leading down to the Verde River. Your porch sunset view is the mini-canyon which edges this Nature-Conservancy -favorite river. Don't miss a chance to vacation at this place. It's unlike ANYthing around the Chino/Paulden/Prescott area (and much closer to Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, etc.).

The best place to stay when going to Gunsite!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/04/06
The Little Thumb Butte B+B is situated on a 40 acre ranch butted up to approximately 100+ acres of state land leased by the Ranch owner Ann Harrington. The views of the surrounding terrain are stunning. This place was amazing. The hostess, Ann, sets the bar that all other B+B's should attempt to match. The rooms were clean and well kept. A wide assortment of beverages were always kept fully stocked. The complimentary breakfast and dinner were superb. I highly reccomend this B+B to any traveler visiting the Paulden area or going to the Gunsite Academy.
