Friendly people. Great Parks. Mentone is the place to be, Great BBQ at Big Jim's Bama Q. Old Baber Shop Cafe at Valley Head. friday night candelight dinner so-good. Mentone Inn is number one.
 
 
 
 
 
A wonderful getaway

Mountain Laurel Inn and Mentone are a wonderful getaway to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The B&B is tucked back in the woods with an easy walk to DeSoto Falls. We loved hiking at Little River Canyon and DeSoto State Park. There is a variety of restaurants and some unique stores. Windwood Farms has great food as well as Dessie's and Mentone Smokehouse. The peace and quiet at the Inn was just what we needed with a wonderful breakfast. We will go back again.

We can't wait to go back!

It's truely beautiful nestled back in the woods near DeSoto Falls. In a few short minutes you can walk out to the cliffs or walk over to DeSoto Falls. The view of the falls from this side is even more extraodinary than that of the park. We simply love it there!
