NEVER EVER AGAIN TO THIS RESORT
By Katrina, 7/22/11
The rooms were very dirty and out-dated. The sheets were not clean, the king bed was really 2 twin beds pushed together. It took hours for clothes to dry in the dryer. For a 4 day stay, with 8 people, we were given 1 roll of paper towel and 2 rolls of toilet paper. We had to buy clorox bleach cleaner to spray down the counters and bathrooms. On top of that, the resort tried to charge me an additional $110 for missing pots and an animal pissing on the carpet. I would never cook out of anyone else pots. We took our own pots and we don't even have any pets or babies to be pissing on the floor. It was bad enough that the room wasnt cleaned to our standard; but for these people to try and take advantage by taking our money was another whole story. I would never recommend anyone to stay here! Not to mention, I should of learned from my trip with them 7 years ago!

To Ned
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/13/11
Ned, I think you need to get your story straight yourself. Jeff is NOT at the Fazio, He is at the Dye which is a vastly different course. Barefoot Rocks! Don't confuse Premier Resort with Barefoot. Premier is a real estate management company that went out of business. Barefoot Resort is extraordinary and in great shape.

Golf is over priced and management doesn't care.
By Ned, 10/12/09
I have played Fazio now 5 times over the past 7 years and last time I said never again. Well should have listened to myself but decided to give them another chance after speaking to the golfing director Jeff Deihl. You play $160 for a course that should play in 4:30 or less but this day took well over 5 hours and we waited on every tee box and fairway after the first 7 holes. The noise I can live with but the course management just is horrible. We were told before we teed off that the course was not full and play would be good by the staff. They were correct for the first 7 holes then we found that in front of the foursome of us they let a couple of people walk the course which slowed play horribly. We even mentioned it while playing to the Marshalls and course roamers but nothing was done. After getting in and going back to the Pro Shop they said they were sold out which I didn't believe for a second since I have been there when it was sold out and the conditions and start times were never on the mark. Today however the problem was the let walker on the longest course there that has long distance between tees and blamed it on selling out, sorry but BS and they need to all get their story straight. These people are just over priced for what they have and at the end of the day when you go to the Pro Shop they are just rude especially the young guys behind the counter. They need a MAJOR Wakeup call and quit thinking that they have the best to offer in MB. By far I have played much better courses for half the price and that welcomes everyone with open arms and keeps the pace of play going by actually telling people to pick their pace up or even go as far as making them skip a hole. They will never see my 16 to 20 golfer I bring annually again and I hope you don't make the mistake to pay that much to wait on all your shots.

Great Vacation - This is the SPOT!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/11/09
There were 8 adults in our party and we stayed at the North Tower 7th floor in a 4br/3ba and it was just like the pictures - beautiful. They are located on each end of the building. We had a magnificant view of the pool, docksider's grille, and marina. We were first on the other end and asked to be moved so we could have this wonderful view and they did it with a smile. Check in was 2p and check out at 12 noon but we asked for a late check out and they granted that for 1pm. The unit was 1800 sq ft and the rooms were of good size and one room had a private balcony with a view of the parking lot which was very quiet. It shared a jack and jill bath and the third bedroom had private access to the hall bath. The master had a king bed, jet tub and oversize see through shower and a water closet (comode), 2 rooms had one double bed, and the 3rd had 2 double beds. The pool was HUGE and wonderful and service was great! We stayed 2 nights and they cleaned our room the next day. Everything was a breeze and shopping close. I only wish we could have stayed longer. The down falls were the living room could use a much larger tv and all tvs needed updated. Anyone could get on the elevator and come up, with no security that was unsafe. I felt that the keys should have been used to gain access to the elevator along with your room. Overall, I will DEFINITELY come back. So much to do, so little time.

A beautiful place but be careful.
By Marsiano, 8/23/08
Me and my family stayed at barefoot resort.but I didnt know i was going to get my room key from a century 21 office . We stay 1 mile away from the big pool.My kids wanted to go to the beach everyday.so i had to drive them about 3-4 miles every day. Their shutters stop operating at 5:30 pm so we youst had to take our own transportation. We never got to see the big pool. If i was going to drive 1 mile to get to the pool. I would youst drive 3 and go for what we were realy there for.THE BEACH...One thing that ruined my night at barefoot was the pillows. They were all stained with stains that looked like saliva.I youst had to go to wallmart and get me a bunch of pillows for me and my family.Be very careful before you decide to go to barefoot. There is no such thing as cancel your room, check out early,or none of that stuff. You youst loose it all. No refunds!

Nicest Place Ever!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/15/08
Barefoot Resort is truly remarkable. You have your choice of staying in 3-story villas farther down the main path or the towers right at the entrance. I've had both and they are great! The 3 story villas are seperated into communities within the Barefoot Resort, and each one has its own pool, with shuttles to the beach and to the big pools. Our 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo was absolutely huge (2000+ square feet) And overlooked the pool and intrcoastal waterway with two balconies. The best part was the unique setup of our condo. It was 3 bedroom, and both of the non-master bedrooms have outside access to their rooms and can lock everyone in the main condo out of their rooms (via double doors, much like in conjoined hotel rooms) so it's great for families traveling together to have some privacy. The pool, by the way, is the largest you will have ever seen... and it's all only 3 feet, with islands less than 1 foot, so kids will be safe! The short shuttle ride or walk to barefoot landing, right at the entrance of the resort, is worthwhile. A large outdoor mall with casual and fine dining, and lots of interesting stores (not all tourist-y... i suggest black market minerals for some very interesting finds). House of blues is also right there. Great, safe area of town, but not right on the beach. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

Wish I could live in Barefoot Resort
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/14/07
I rented a house in HEAVEN ! LONGBRIDGE IN BAREFOOT RESORT had a house for rent for 2 weeks ! We drove down from Columbia, MD. It was a wonderful 3/2 house with a garage. It was the perfect house for us and I wish I could move there and quit my job. We rode bikes to the intercoastal. We swam at the pool and went to the clubhouse. Everyone is so friendly.

Great vacation spot
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/8/07
We have been vacationing in North Myrtle Beach now for the past three years. Barefoot resort and golf is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are impeccable. The people are kind, helpful and just plain fantastic. We loved the area so much that we bought a Golf Villa and then we upgraded to a beautiful house. i hope to retire there. We are only in our thirties.

Relax and Enjoy!
By Lori, 8/5/07
The location was ideal! North Tower of Barefoot landing is right on the water way. We saw the weekly Monday night fireworks from our balcony. The shopping village is just steps away where there are restaurants, fun activities for kid, entertainment and lots of ice-cream shops! The 3 golf courses are within walking distance and the courses and club house facility are georgous! I went for a morning run along the course...the North tower also has the biggest pool! Great for young children and adults to share, with a hot tub! Drinks could be purchased poolside. If you're interested in this section of Myrtle beach let me know, I have friends who own condos in the North tower. My first time was fantastic...I'll certainly be going again!
