Convenient location to city center but located on busy road with sirens and traffic almost non-stop.
Several repairs are needed at this potentially nice B&B. Hand railing broken on side stairs resulting in dangerous entry for older guests. Rooms not very clean and plumbing did not work properly. Some light bulbs were missing. No desk or sitting area in most rooms. Common rooms lacked furniture if you have more than 3-4 people visiting - only dining room chairs are availabe to sit on. Some outside patio furniture was broken or falling apart. Shower and sink leaked or difficult to operate. Glass shelf in bathroom was not installed properly, it fell causing mirror to also fall off the wall. Bathroom amenities not replaced daily including basics like coffee, filters, and toilet tissue. Outside eaves needed to be washed or steam cleaned. Garden Suite room not cleaned after prior guest, including left over food in cupboard.
We stayed over Thanksgiving and had a catered meal at $40 per person, which was served in aluminum foil dishes, while nice dishes remained in the cupboard. Christmas decorations not up yet while most other B&B had decorations at Thanksgiving - we had requested this months prior to our arrival.
For a romantic or family gathering I recommend looking into one of the many other B&B's in this city.
