Hotel went from very nice to very bad
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/12/10
We have stayed at the hotel in the past but after this trip not anymore. The bathroom was a mess. The toilet did not flush properly, there was a ring at the bottom of the toilet that needed cleaning, the light in the bathroom had no cover and dirt and dust could be seen. The shower head ring was loose from the wall and the water in the bathtub did not drain properly leaving standing water for a period of time. The hotel, unlike in the past did not offer any price discount such as AAA or AARP. Overall feeling was one of uncleanliness!! This used to be a great place to stay but not anymore. Somebody just doesn't care!

No Frills but Clean
By bb, 2/21/10
We stayed in their suite which was just a larger room from a normal room, but are you really there for their rooms. Not really. We were just looking for a clean place to stay and we got it. The place was clean and quite. This was our second time in Tombstone and this hotel was way better than the last one we were at. It is walking distance to the heart of town and that was why we came. One tip don't forget to pack your shampoo, bar soap and a hair dryer.

Run by methheads
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/1/08
Arrived on the twentieth of December. Person that checked me in was dirty, redeyed, and couldn't stop talking inanely. While I was unloading the car several unsavory individuals arrived like a drive in to the office and exchanged money with the clerk for small packages. Some on bikes, on foot and by dillapidated vehicles. That night the clerk whose "house"? was behind the hotel had an alnighter with several friends over a smelly barrel fire. Two of the dirty laborers that worked at the hotel where staying in a shed at his house also. The traffic for the "little baggies" never stopped that night.

Stay Away
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/15/07
The food was served in a warehouse. Food was lousey, cold, and nothing for our kids. Motel is not as advertised, it is not an 1880's motel, but is new construction!

Beware, Beware, Beware
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/7/07
No hot water or water pressure in the morning. Breakfast served in a storage room with hot water heaters. Substandard food! Complained to owner and Arizona Attorney Generals Office, what a waste of time and effort. The only thing important in Tombstone is your money!

Location is not everything
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/27/07
The hotel is noisy, not enough parking, beds are very substandard and free breakfast is minimal at best. We will not be going back and only recommend it if location is important.

You could not pay me enough to go back here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/17/06
Booked a room in March 06 for October when I arrived I was told that I had booked for April, I did not have this problem with the other 11 hotels I booked at the same time in the rest of Arizona. They did not charge one nights accomodation as I missed the April booking date so I think that I was bumped and my room given to a higher paying guest.

Our Stay
By lady_of_courage, 9/29/06
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Tombstone motel. We got in a lil later than we thought we would and we were still greeted by a very sweet and pleasant woman. She was very informative and helpful in answering our questions about the area and history of the place. We enjoyed the fact it was right across the street from the Tombstone ghosttown. We didn't have to drive anywhere...everything was so very close and handy. Their complimentary breakfast was so nice and refreshing also. They had biscuts and gravy, cereal, milk, coffee, toast...ect....so much nicer than just fruit. We would definetly use this motel again in future travels.
