Bayou Cabins, Breaux Bridge

Spent the weekend there with my wife and we had a wonderful time, the lodging was so unique and comfortable. The best thing about the whole place is the owners, without them it would not be what it is. They are such nice and REAL people and make you feel at home without putting on an act. We will certainly be back if not only just to visit with these folks.

Overpriced, poorly insulated, with electrical issues near noisy main road and near a bar that plays loud music until all hours of the night.

We love the location to Mulate's Cajun Restaurant & Cajun dancing. We love the people who own the cabins--authentic Cajuns with warm, happy hospitality. Beautiful property, clean cabins, wonderful balconies with Christimas lights around them overlooking the Bayou Tesch. We'll be back for sure & bring family who love rustic authenticity. In poor repair may have been nice once but pretty disappointing unless they have a good clean and paint up. Not the quality of cabin you would want to pay to stay in! Next to highway and road bridge. Traffic noise in a shed is not good. Service - a token only- though owners pleasant enough people. Sorry wouldn't recommend.
