This bed-and-breakfast has made it to the top ten outstanding inns in the country, featuring alongside the likes of La Maison Marigny. All of the six guest rooms are beautifully decorated. Ask for one with a jacuzzi, especially if you're on a business trip or a sight-seeing spree you might just want to relax in a hot tub at the end of a hectic day! Your entertainment is catered to by the television in the second-floor sitting room; you can also take your pick from the small movie library. If you're an early riser, you'll be fortunate enough to get freshly brewed coffee. Enjoy your stay!

Please read before you book!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/19/08
Stop and read before you book this B&B. This place is disappointing at best. The owner does not appear to value customer service (actually, I never met the owner in my two day stay.) Breakfast is served at 9:00 a.m.-- and if your schedule (you, the paying guest) does not accomodate the owner's 9:00 a.m. schedule, you have "the pleasure" of warming up two pigs-in-a-blanket (left in a basket on the counter) in the microwave while you pour your own Good Value orange juice. Day Two: Finishing up an early morning business meeting, I received an 8:45 a.m. call from my husband (who had stayed behind at the Inn). He told me to hurry back to the Inn because he had been told (by the cook) that "the bread was getting hard" and the French toast would have to be served "right now!" I hurried back, ate my one piece of French toast, and as I finished I glanced at my watch to see that it was 9:04 a.m. Historic Galveston offers many other B&B's and I encourage you to explore other options. I will. Should you happen to stay here, PLEASE don't judge other B&B's by this place--this lack of customer service is most unusual for a B&B. Every other B&B (my choice of lodging for ten years of extensive business travel) has been excellent!

Wonderful place to stay
By Jason, 08/15/07
The service and food were excellent. The rooms and beds were comfortable. Breakfast is served at 9:00am except on Sundays where it is served at 8:30. The family that runs it is wonderful and it was just an all around pleasant experience. The location is right in the middle of the island. Its not on the beach but it really isn't that far. It is a great place to stay to avoid all of the busyness of the beach and the resorts next to the beach.

Nice place to go to
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/07
This place was very friendly as well prompt for all of our needs at this bed and breakfast. Our experience was rewarding for our 15th wedding anniversary and the couple that hosted us were outstanding as well. The breakfast atmosphere was a change of fast pace life in the city and the food was pretty good as well as the conversations we had with the other couples at the table that were from other parts of the states. Congrats to the newlyweds that were there as well. We will definetely return to this place and visit on every trip we make to Galveston

Great B&B but spoiled by others
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/26/06
The Queen Anne is a great B&B with nice food and comfortable rooms. We stayed there for our wedding and they did everything for us. The only thing that spoiled it was the carriage ride from Island Carriages. Dirty carriage, scruffy rude driver with long blond hair, just a broken down old carriage with a dirty "Just Married" sign. We will certainly go back to the Queen Anne but never ride that carriage again.
