The most relaxing weekend you will ever spend in the keys
Casa Thorn is unique, off the beaten path, and the golden ticket to relaxation. The moment you arrive at Casa Thorn you realize that this is going to be a vacation like no other. The garden decorations, such as the life-size camel and beautiful tropical foliage, are only a glimpse to what wonders hide behind the privacy fence to the B&B. Then you are greeted by the kindliest caretakers of the B&B, Cindy and Mary Ann. They will be at your beck and call with nothing but a smile! And be sure to let them know of any dietary needs right away. They will be happy to accomodate as best they can when they cook you your delicious breakfast in the morning! Next, you are greeted by the fabulous Thorn who will give you all her insider's tips to the optimal Islamorada experience. She'll send you to the best locals spots for food, drinks, sunset, snorkeling, and whatever other adventures your heart desires. Now you get to take in the pool and garden area! Thorn is very well traveled and you get a glimpse of culture through all of the beautifully crafted souvenirs she has collected throughout the years. On our fourth day we were still noticing things we hadn't seen before. Our favorite was the orchid garden and the goldfish pond! There is also a sundeck for working on your tan. Then, no matter which room you have booked, you are in for a treat! Each room is ornately decorated and more unique than the last. The beds are luxuriously comfortable and the room's ambience offers pure relaxation. You may never want to leave your room but I don't recommend it. Islamorada, in my opinion, is the most beautiful of the keys! I highly reccomend taking in a sunset or two at Lorelei or Morada Bay. This will truly be an adventure to remember and just the thing to wash all your worries away. ENJOY and make sure to tell Thorn, Cindy, Mary Ann, and all the resident pets that Robert and Julie Peterson say hello!
