Courtney's Place, Key West

OUR EXPERIENCE WAS FROM JULY 4th 1996. WE FOUND SOMEONE WHO TOLD US ABOUT COURTNEY'S PLACE AND TOLD US TO CONTACT LIL TONY WHOM I GUESS WAS THE DAUGHTER OF THE OWNER OF CAPTAIN TONY'S BAR. WE DID WE STAYED IN A SHOTGUN HOUSE AND HAD THE GREATEST TIME OF OUR LIVES. (WE STILL ARE HA HA). DON'T KNOW WHERE TONY IS THESE DAYS ,BUT COURTNEY I HERE IS RUNNING THINGS AND DOING GREAT. (SHE WAS LITTLE WHEN WE WERE THERE), BUT LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING HER AGAIN IN 2008 FOR OUR 12th ANNIV. THE GREATEST STAFF, KINDEST PEOPLE, AND CARING FRIENDS YOU COULD EVER MEET. The So called Pool fits maybe 5 People(it's a joke) Rats on the porch, in the trees, one walked within 6 inches of me. When I spoke to the Office staff(who never got up from there computer chair in the office) they said that is NORMAL for key west. I beg to Differ. Its old runned down dump. A Trashly Motel with a cold Brekfast that had bugs in the food container, which the staff thought nothing of it when I informed them. Don't waste you time or money. There are Real B & Bon the Island just look around truman st. or other places

great place in easy walk or bike to duval or other spots. GREAT PLACE TO STAY going back soon. have told friends and they were very happy with thier stay and will go back.

Found Courtney's place online after our regular (formerly) was booked up. What a wonderful B&B. I can't say enough about the service, the ambiance and the pleasant staff...Not fancy, but clean as a whistle. Continental Breakfast is more of a feast...If there was a complaint to be found, I'd have posted it, but there were none. We would never stay anywhere else in Key West... Thanks and see you soon... Cathy, Gary and Romeo (they are the ultimate in pet friendly....)

There was bare wiring hanging from ceiling fan, there was leftover coffee grounds still in the coffee pot from the prevous people. The floors were filthy, rooms were extremely small. If you were a very small person the whole place including, the tiny pool and walkways would have been great. The pictures are very deceiving. It's not as spacious as it looks.

Hey, let me first say, not all New Yorkers are stuffy. Our family had a very nice time. Yes the pool is small, but it works not too many people around anyway. The rooms where fine, a little tight maybe but we loved it. If we had wanted to stay at a big fancy hotel then we would have. We wanted to stay and feel like we lived there for our 6 day stay. Also yes the owners or staff seemed to be on line a lot, but that is todays world. I found them to be very nice and very helpful. We went there the year Florida had all those bad storms. We got evacuated off the Island because of hurrican Dennis. Courtney was nice enough to give us two nights credit. We haave never used the days because of other problems. I often wonder if I should call and see if they remeber us. Anyway we enjoyed our stay and would go again. People need to lighten up, this is not Paris, it's a small tropical Island. When in Roam do as the Romans do.

My wife and I had cottage #9 and truly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and came with an attached patio with fridge, coffee grinder/maker, and blender. Courtney's Inn made us feel welcome and we felt like being at home. The pool was relaxing, the breakfast delicious, and the location perfect!
