Wonderful New Hotel--Beware the MiniBar!
This is a new hotel right in the center of town. The rooms are spacious, even by American standards. Very nice view, the staff is very kind and helpful
My bathtub had someone else's hair in it the whole week-plus I was there. The sauna and steam rooms were nice, but would have been better if they were cleaner. They just didn't smell sanitary.
I opened 1 of the bottled waters left in the room, expecting the charge. I drank a little and left in on the nightstand. Housekeeping moved it back to the table with the unopened bottle.
When I returned that night, I continued drinking my opened bottle of water, and left it on the nightstand. Housekeeping placed it back on the table with the unopened bottle again. This continued my whole stay(I never finished the bottle)
It wasn't until I went to check out that I saw I was charged for a new bottle of water EVERY DAY and I had $70 in water on my bill.
Because it was an early morning check out, the manager wasn't in and the clerk was not authorized to remove the charges but promised that it would be passed to the manager when she came in.
Well, months later and a lot of money in international calls later, I never got a refund or even the courtsey of a return phone call from the hotel.
This hotel was very nice, but if you go, beware the mini bar and don't leave until your bill is correct!
