Absolute Sea Pearl Beach, Ko yao

My boyfriend and I recently spent a month travelling around Thailand during Feb/March 07 with our last week spent on Patong beach. I have stayed in many hotels all around the world and I have never been treated as badly as I was at Absolute Sea Pearl. Were do I begin... � Booked 5 months in advance. Sent us an email 3 days beforehand saying we were to be moved to another hotel for half our stay. We said this was not ok and they said we didn�t have a choice. After researching the other hotel we found out it cost 1/2 the price. My boyfriend and I were also put in a twin room next to a construction site. The only compensation offered at first was transfers between the other hotel and they were an hour late in picking us up! � We fought for some sort of refund or remuneration but were offered pathetic small services as they apparently do this to a lot of customers and we should be as accepting as others. � They were extremely rude and actually blamed us for some of their problems such as having to come and pick us up from the other hotel which we were placed in against our will. � We were yelled at and patronized and when we told them this was the worst service we had received since arriving in Thailand she smiled smugly and said �Thank You� I am not a tough critic and do not give negative feedback often but this hotel is by far the worst I have ever stayed at. With so many good hotels around let�s not support hotels that treat people so badly. Don�t let them ruin your holiday!
