We did not believe what we read before booking

In my many years of travelling, I have never had such an awful experience and lived in such a dirty hotel.
On arrival the reception was good, but when we got in our room, we quickly ran out pulling all four luggage behind us. We headed straight back to the front desk, and asked Please, no, we cnnot stay in that room. We were asked why? because that room was too dirty, the carpet was awfully stained dirty, no towels, there were ants all over, but the straw that broke the carmel's back was a chair. Oh my! I don't want to discribe the condition of the chair, it makes me sick just to think about it. Please understand, this is no exaggeration.
Please, somebody needs to get to these people and demand that this place be upgraded, cleaned, maintained, renovated.
They promised to transfer us to their upgrade renovated room with new carpet, but it never happened.
It is unacceptable that anyone would have to put up with this even if the hotel room was given at no cost, talk less about paying for such deplorable accommodation.
