The Hotel and Helpful Hints

Any picture you see on the internet does not due justice to the breathtaking views and surroundings that are part of the Four Seasons Resort.
As you drive up to the front gate you overlook the whole Papagayo Peninsula with brilliant blue waters all around you. The drive to the front reception area is around 15 min. as you pass the famous Arnold Palmer Golf Course.
You are greeted by the very friendly staff and whisked over to the front desk to check-in. I must mention that the employees at the Four Seasons go out of their way to make your stay perfect.
The rooms are very elegant with Brazilian wood floors and marble counters in the bathroom. The best part of the room was the screened in patio with a view of the ocean. We spent a lot of time out there just enjoying the view.
Although pricey, the food is very delicious and served with excellent presentation. Our favorite meal was at the Congo with the Brazilian meat skewers. We also were invited to join a couple who caught fresh tuna one day on a fishing trip. The chef made all kinds of fresh sushi: tuna rolls, sashimi, etc, which was to die for.
One helpful tip that I can give you is to reserve a private shuttle from the Liberia Airport. I booked through J and C Tours who were very professional, prompt, and informative. Their prices are quite a bit lower than the hotels and their vehicles are just as nice. Just Google them and you will find their web site.
We made so many good memories on our vacation at the Four Seasons Costa Rica that I can hardly wait to go back. I am already planning a family vacation at the beginning of next year!
Enjoy the resort!
