The Glenville Inn, Glenville

My wife and i visited Glenville WV on business combined with a pleasure visit. We have stated at this hotel several times and have always found it to very clean, friendly, and a great value for the dollar. We stayed 1 night and packed to go home the next morning. Being the ever forgetfull one when we arrived home I noticed that I had not pack my partial dental in my case. i Immediately called the hotel and spoke to a wonderful women named Jeannie. I explained my problem and she immediately stated the house keeper had turned in the partial. In fact she had it in a cup on her desk and would keep it for me ( my next trip to Glenville was the next day.) How lucky wasI to have stayed a such a caring hotel. The next day when I was in Glenville I stopped by the hotel to pick up my articial and to personally thank the house keeper fand Jeannie or retriving it for me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is traveling thru centeral WV

We were on our way up 79 just before midnight it started storming. I had been looking for a good place to stop, but I wanted to drive as far as I could on our way back home to Pittsburgh. I pulled off in Flatwoods WV and called the Days Hotel, which was just under $100. I punched a few buttons in the GPS and found this Best Western just about 30 minutes up the road. I called and a nice young guy (Scott, maybe) told us that he'd get us a room just under $70, being that it was going to be after midnight by the time I got there. SOLD. So, honestly, my wife wasn't thrilled about 5 miles out this very windy road...and knowing that we had 7 more miles to go. She kept reminding me of the Days Hotel about 20 minutes back. Once we arrived and were placed in a room, the Days Hotel was forgotten. It was a VERY clean room, with extremely confortable beds. The night's sleep was the best we'd had all week, until the "it's morning time" chant from our 3 year old. :) I recommend everything here, from the clean rooms, reasonalble breakfast, friendly staff, and very comfortable beds and pillows.

I highly recommend this Best Western. The rooms are very clean, service is excellent and the staff are friendly, helpful and most gracious. Our son is a student at GSC and we look forward to visits with him. We appreciate having a nice place to stay when we get to Glenville.

We came from Texas to see our Son at Glenville State College. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean, beds comfortable, bathrooms clean, and the breakfast they provided was really nice and plentiful. There is a restaurant across the parking lot that serves great Italian food. We have stayed here two times now, it has been a pleasant experience every time.

My family and I recently stayed at Best Western in Glenville and it was just far, far above the previous nights stay at the Holiday Inn in Oak Hill, WV..Best Western had the better room, better employees, better everything. I will most definitely be back. I recommed Best Western to anyone traveling in the beautiful state of West Virginia, Gilmer County area. Linda Wagner Hampton, Va

It was a very nice place to stay it is like a diamond in the rough. The hotel was wonderful. The customer service was great. The rooms were very comfortable. However my cellphone reception wasn't all the great. It is a very nice place to stay if you are visiting Glenvill, WV.
