Maison Fleurie, BRANTôME

Maison Fleurie was such a good find. The friendly Hostess, Carol who told us all about the area and guided us to some really good eating places (there are 22 in total in this small town). The house was very interesting and extreemly comfortable, nice bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast was super and lots of it which we ate in the flowery courtyard by the pool. No need to use the car whilst there as there are lovely small shops, restaurants and bars near the B&B plus the river. No parking at the B & B but parking close. We found Brantome a good place to stop for a few days are there is a lot to see and do. Plus we wanted a comfortable break from travelling. Ron and Vera (stayed summer 2006)
