I had a wonderful time in Arizona. I'm not ready to go home! The hot sun and desert wind has done a lot to chase away the winter and get me ready for summer. I'm not sure how bearable it would be here in the dead of summer, but at this time in May it was amazing. Carefree Resort was relaxing and lovely. It isn't the fanciest resort, but the people are friendly and the place is well maintained. The pool and botanical garden are great places to spend time. If you come out to Carefree, be sure and take a walk to the Sundial. It is a mile's walk through the desert landscape and once you get there ... Show Less
