Last night we rolled into Bakersfield and got checked into the Best Western by 7:30. The first thing we did was head to the Jack In The Box across the street and get some dinner before settling in at the room. I remembered I wanted to dye my roots before I got my highlights on Sunday but was worried about the result since I was sweating like a pig due to the clunking air conditioning that was slow to work. In the end it turned out okay but that took most of the night. The room was nice and had a fridge and a microwave. Much better then I expected but the "high speed Internet" was slower than d...
