Only one word can describe the Grand Canyon: breathtaking. Although the drive from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon was a long one, going down historical Route 66 was fantastic. We left fairly early in the morning but managed to get there well into the night. We made a few stops at a couple ma and pa restaurants and shops along the way and were fascinated by the stories each person gave us. An older couple even mentioned meeting some pretty famous people--including Frank himself. We also passed through a Native Indian reservation and pulled off to a side road to admire some wild horses grazing in... Show Less
