These places look great, but how 'bout another article for those of us who wouldn't spend $600+ pp/pn for vacation. I've stayed in plenty of all-inclusives for less than that PER WEEK, and have no complaints. How 'bout a "Top Ten All-Inclusive Beach Resorts Under $200 Per Night" article, Yahoo?

Hawaiian Islands are the best vacations ever! They're beautiful and relaxing with lots to do and but most importantly, they're in the USA which means they are safe. Safety is very important these days especially when you're traveling with kids. The Hawaiians are very friendly and peaceful. I'll never go back to Mexico where the employees in the resort we stayed at stole from our room and the management wouldn't take us seriously when we reported it. Also, too many beach vendors always bugging you there.

I promised my wife I would take her to one of the islands. I had in mind Staten Island. Are there any all inclusive hotels there?
  • Christina  •  27 days ago
The pricing listed in the article is "high season" rates....These resorts have more affordable packages during their "off season.".....The beaches are beautiful all year round....it's just that the snow birds flock there during the winter months...so it's significantly higher during their busiest times. It's supply and demand pricing.
  • S T  •  28 days ago
#$%$ ...... are those really the nightly, per person rates? I've been to Cancun, Mazatlan, and Cabo and have had weekly rates more affordable then those.
  • Christina  •  Laplace, Louisiana  •  28 days ago
I've been to several of the Sandal's resorts during the off season (which for them is typically the summer months)....spent 7nights and 8 days in Antigua....including airfare it was only $4000.00 for the two of us. The airfare was as much as the room, but all our food and drinks were included in the price...about 9 restaurants to choose from...the only add on fee was a body wrap I did when the guys went scuba diving (which was also included in the all inclusive trip unless you aren't a certified scuba diver than figure about an additional 70 or so bucks). Jamaica was cheaper primarily due to the airfare rates. If you haven't been to a Sandal's resort then check out their rates when they are offering up to 65% off but skip the personal butler if you are on a budget and want an affordable beautiful resort to go to on vacation. You won't believe the deal you can get at a Sandal's. Don't take my word for it, check it out yourself. Just stay away from the rooms w/ a personal butler or bungalow's with your own pool if you're looking for affordable!
