This was a family vacation taken by me, my husband Jon, and our three children: Charles 9, Brooklyn 3, and Alyssa 1. We had high hopes of making it to Arizona in 24 hours and to do so are driving straight through the night. We left this vacation at 12:00 pm and headed out for the long adventure. Louisville, KY We started the trip on the way down with a trip the the Louisville Slugger Factory tour and Mueseum. It was a well spent 2.5 hour leg stretcher. Pretty economical and you get a souvenier bat (small) for free. Great baseball history, batting cages, play area, tour, movie, etc. Good diversion if you are headed south from the mid-west.
