What if what you wore could match with anything? Sartorially speaking, we humans are flat boring. Consider the panther chameleon (Furcifer pardalis to the cognoscenti). First of all it is covered with what looks like lots of beads, which is cool, but under those beady bumps are chromatophores. Never mind that its eyes can look in two directions at once, those chromatophores can virtually turn any color in as little as 20 seconds: suiting its mood, surroundings, the light or the temperature (Attention ladies: 20 seconds!).
Of the 160 chameleon species worldwide, 59, including the Panther Chameleon, are found only on the island of Madagascar.
