While visiting the Greek island of Oia, Santorini, photographer Roy Cheung was befriended by a cat. He first met the cat while visiting an art gallery. The next day he saw the cat again; this time it led him to some marvelously mauve steps, and posed.
It is said that animals pick up a “vibe” from humans; they seem to know whom to trust. Cheung, who lives in Shanghai, China, often labels his photos, “Care for the homeless, humans or animals.” It must have qualified for the cat’s trust level.
Oia is known for its whitewashed and blue buildings. Apparently, the cat wanted to show Mr. Cheung and his party something different.
