Over the last ten years, I have stayed at this B&B, at least six times, but my last visit will unfortunately be my last.
This once fine establishment has had a change of ownership and the new owners have appear to have little appreciation of what makes a B&B stay memorable.
On each previous trip I had stayed in the Emily Tuttle Room in the rear cottage. On this trip the mattress was so broken down that neither of us were able to sleep much and both awoke with a sore back. Fortunately ours was a mid-week stay and the current owners did graciously allow an upgrade to any available room and the second room on the second floor of the main house was very nice.
Formerly used to scheduled breakfasts offering a wide selection of both hot and cold breakfast choices on fine china, we were shocked to be offered a limited choice of cold cereals and worst of all, coffee in a PAPER CUP... I was saddened to realize that I would not be back for I have many pleasant memories of former visits there over the years...
