in a safe area
My husband and I went to Paris Feb of 2006, and stayed at this hotel. The hotel itself is very small, as are the rooms, which is normal for european standards. Breakfast was included one of the days we were there however if your looking for substance best to eat somewhere else (also very high calorie, all carbs, pastries). The hotel was however was very clean, you have to climb stairs to get to your room, elevator not really an option. Also they require you to turn in your key everytime you leave the hotel which was slightly odd. The location is very safe, it sits between some embassies so there are armed guards on every corner. The location is also with in walking distance to many of the major attractions, and trust me you will walk while in Paris, I guess that is why no one is over weight there. This hotel is great if you don't mind small, intimate, and safe, great value in a very pricey city.
