I really liked this little hotel. I thought that it was safe and secure and in a nice little section of old San Juan. The front desk staff was amazingly helpful and friendly.
My only complaint was that the hotel's restaurant was a little slow when it came to service. Some of the companions that I traveled with had other complaints about the lack of a swimming pool, and the fact that their room had no windows.
I guess as in everything it depends on what your personal experience is.
I can't comment on the value aspect, because the hotel was part of a package, so I am not quite sure of what the cost of the hotel was in relation to the other costs of my all "inclusive" trip. :)
