This was our first stay at a B & B and it was most enjoyable. The house has been maintained nicely. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The location is convenient - and just a short walk to "downtown" Columbia. The hostess, "Sam" (Samantha) is a very pleasant, cheerful woman who makes you feel at home from the minute you walk into Harlan House. We would not hesitate to return.
