Great location ,Bad hotel

I booked this hotel cause it seemed to have that key west charm that I was looking for , but boy was I wrong. First of all the best thing about this place is its location (near Duval st) and it had really pretty grounds but the rooms are another story. The first room we were in was horrible, there were ants everywhere, huge gaps in the front doors letting in bugs, the roof looked like it had been leaking and there was a taped up hole in the wall where a AC had been. After we complained they switched us to another room, it was better but still had ants and the floor was so dirty that my feet would be black and the doors were also not sealed. Beware! its overpriced and not worth the money , my fiance got bit in bed by a spider that landed him in the doctors office! Also as we were leaving 2 days early because of the hotel and I saw that cooking grease had leaked all on my car from the cafe (I recommend dont eat there because my breakfast had a hair in the eggs). One of the worst places Ive ever stayed, will never go there again , it was a waste.
