Good pr work.
My wife and I have just returned from a 5 day stay at the Spar. The rooms are fairly small but very clean with excellent hot shower and hbo facility. The breakfast is the equal of any buffet style we have had in far more expensive and "prestigious" hotels. The service and helpful nature of all the staff from chambermaids to top management is a refreshing joy to someone who has had the misfortune to experience too many of the other kind. A measure of their caring attitude came on our last day, my wife woke in the early hours of our check out day with an attack of stomach trouble, we very quickly decided she couldn't stray too far from the safety of the bathroom. I asked at the desk if we could hold the room until our flight time ( 21.35 ), fully expecting to pay only to be told with all the sympathy in the world to stay put and we were not charged a penny. If anyone can find a better example of good customer relations I would love to hear about it.
