Caution....spending time at Meeker Park Lodge is EXTREMELY habit forming.
There is no other place that comes close to the unending beauty found at the base of Mount Meeker.
From charming atmosphere of the general store makes it hard to leave once you've made your puchase. The locals and visitors seem more like family members at a reunion to the natural splendor wherever you turn.
It is impossible to avoid falling in love with this place.
The main lodge is full of the much of the original 1930's decor and unmistakable warmth built over decades by all those who passed through the doors.
The rustically accomodating cabins scattered around the ajoining hillside provide just enough comfort for those needing a little more independence. Fully furnished with living area,kitchen,shower and bedroom. Each one unique with it's own name carved on wooden plaques over the entry.
If there could be anything negitive to point out, it would be that leaving can be somewhat painful.
