We stayed here last fall with our two young children. We all had a great time. Our room was clean and modernized-- new paint on all the walls, complete new kitchen, new bathroom, new furniture, plasma tv, etc... I couldn't understand all the bad reviews until I saw our neighbor's room. His room was extremely dated and run-down, but it appeared clean. So it appears they are re-doing the rooms one by one. I was glad we were assigned the newer and better room. The service was friendly and while the elevator was a little slow it was nothing to remark on. We all had a great time and enjoyed our stay immensely.
