Excellent Winter Experience

My wife, son and I stayed in one of the family loft rooms. The room and loft layout were perfect! The loft provided a separate living area for my son while the main level was more than enough room for all of us to sit, relax, play games and watch movies. The room was very clean and in great material condition. The staff was incredible! Unfortunately for us, our stay was cut short by a nor'easter, so we opted to leave a day early to beat the storm. The front desk was more than happy to refund us for the night we couldn't stay. Just another fine example of the staffs professionalism. We really enjoyed the afternoon cookies and hot chocolate/hot cider. The morning breakfast was a nice experience with fresh bagels, fruit, coffee, and OJ. There were only a few things I didn't find up to par with our accomodations. The bed mattresses were very uncomfortable and sunken in the middle. Also, the loft TV was a 1989 19" with no remote and only half the channels available. That really wasn't a big deal though - a 6yr old only really needs PBS or Nickolodeon. Overall, an outstanding experience, and I would recommend Merrill Farm to anyone.
