Vacation Cut Short
This was our second trip to Sea Watch, we checked into the North Tower 10th floor Sunday evening and were to be there until the following Sunday. Upon arrival to our room I got upset because the toilet had been used and left unflushed. It was immediatly cleaned, however the initial damage was done. The management made no apologies but did inspect our room the next day. Our king size bed mattress sagged on both sides, very uncomfortable, not suitable for resting or sleeping. I was disappointed because our stay last year had been great, this unit however did not meet my expectations, it needs alot of updating. On Wednesday June 1st the Bikers started checking in to the resort. (I was told by the desk clerk it was Biker Week- and the way I was told implied I should have stayed home or I could check out if I didn't like what was happening) As a guest I did not feel safe exiting or entering the resort. Parking my one vehicle was a issue. Bikers were given one parking space for each bike, one for the vehicle that pulled in a load of bikes and one for the trailer that held more bikes. Their was little security in the parking garage until Thursday night and as a guest I knew trouble was brewing. My husband and I decided to cut our vacation short and we left on Friday. No apologies from the Management of the resort. If we decide that we want that type of experience again we will surely return or maybe we will seek out a place where all guests feel welcome and the staff/management goes that extra mile to satisfy.
